The Queen of Sciences
In 2016 the Government Arts and Science College at Sathyamangalam was started by the Government of Tamilnadu. Later in 2017, the Department of Mathematics was established under Bharathiar University with under graduate (UG) course, B.Sc in Mathematics. After that every year 60 student’s got admission under this programme.
The Department is offering B.Sc Mathematics programme with a strong motivation to provide best Teaching in pure and applied Mathematics. It emphasizes the basics in Classical Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, Statics, Dynamics, Operation Research, Numerical Methods, Modern Algebra, Real Analysis, Complex Analysis, Graph Theory ,Discrete Mathematics and Statistics etc.
From 2020 onwards, students from Mathematics department are well placed in various standard companies in Erode and Coimbatore districts. Almost all the admitted students were found degree and got more than 75 percentages of marks.
